Milestone Moments: December 5, 2019

Arizona Coyotes prospect Axel Bergkvist registered his first career OHL goal in a 4-3 comeback win over the Windsor Spitfires on Thursday. Down 2-0 midway through the second period, the Insjön, Sweden native scored what would be the first of three consecutive Rangers goals. Bergkvist, a seventh round draft pick of the Coyotes last June, now has a 14-point (1-13-14) total through his first 25 OHL games. He was drafted by Kitchener in the second round of the CHL Import Draft last summer after spending time with Leksand’s IF J20 SuperElit squad in 2018-19, where he registered 21 points (12-9-21).
