JAROMIR PYTLIK (SAULT STE. MARIE GREYHOUNDS):
Soo Greyhounds newcomer Jaromir Pytlik scored his first OHL goal in his ninth career game on Wednesday, tallying a goal and an assist in a 4-2 loss to the visiting Sudbury Wolves. Pytlik’s first came on a nice feed from Keeghan Howdeshell, who found the Czech rookie speeding down the middle to put a shot past Sudbury’s Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen midway through the second period. The 17-year-old from Dacice, Czech Rep. joined the Hounds in early January after starting the season in the Czech Extraliga. Pytlik, who is eligible for the 2020 NHL Draft, was Sault Ste. Marie’s second round pick in the 2018 CHL Import Draft. He represented the Czech Republic at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup last summer.
