RYLAN BOWERS (MISSISSAUGA STEELHEADS):
Rylan Bowers scored his first OHL goal in his first OHL game with the Mississauga Steelheads on Sunday, opening the scoring in a 3-1 win over the Central Division leading Sudbury Wolves. The Steelheads announced the signing of Bowers a day before his team debut. The 17-year-old winger from Komoka, Ont. was Mississauga’s 12th round pick of the 2018 OHL Priority Selection, and played 33 games with the Listowel Coyotes of the GOJHL this season where he amassed 14 goals and 16 assists for 33 games. He is a graduate of the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs Minor Midget program.
