MAX MCCUE (LONDON KNIGHTS) – 1ST OHL GOAL
London Knights rookie Max McCue registered his first OHL career goal on Sunday afternoon when he found the back of the net with 51 seconds left in the game to lift the Knights to a final 6-2 over the Erie Otters. A native of Sudbury, the 16-year-old centreman now has three points through his first 24 games with the squad. McCue was a second round selection of the Knights at last year’s OHL Priority Selection after putting up 41 points (14-27-41) with the Sudbury Wolves Minor Midget team. He also registered two goals in five games for Team Canada Black at the Under-17 World Championships last fall.
