(Greater Sudbury, ON) The SW Sports and Entertainment organization sadly announces the sudden passing of SWSE Life Coach Jeremy Mahood.

“It is with heavy hearts that we learned of the sudden passing of SWSE Life Coach Jeremy Mahood this morning,” said Sudbury Wolves Owner Dario Zulich. “Jeremy was an incredible person who has done tremendous work in our community. He was an integral part of our team and met regularly with players, staff and myself. He will be profoundly missed by our entire organization.”

“Our hockey club is deeply saddened by the tragic news this morning of the sudden passing of our team’s Life Coach and Chaplin,” said Sudbury Wolves VP Hockey Operations and General Manager, Rob Papineau. “Jeremy Mahood was a loved member of the Sudbury Wolves Hockey Club who mentored the whole organization as a professional gentleman of character. He will be deeply missed. Jeremy was a community leader and role model to everyone who had the fortune of being touched by knowing him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Eileen and children, Erin & Meghan as well as the All Nations Church community.”

“On behalf of our players, training and coaching staff, I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the Mahood family,” said Sudbury Wolves Head Coach Cory Stillman. “Jeremy was the first person our team would call when we needed guidance and support when times were difficult. His presence will be greatly missed in our locker room amongst our Sudbury Wolves family.”

Jeremy joined the Wolves organization two years ago as the team’s life coach and was the lead pastor at All Nations Church. He would have turned 70 this Sunday.
