Pre-Season Pulse: Friday September 10th


–  Defenceman Simon Motew put up a goal and three assists and first round 2020 OHL Priority Selection pick Andrew LeBlanc scored back-to-back first period goals in his OHL debut to lead the Kitchener Rangers past the Barrie Colts 5-2.
– First round 2021 OHL Priority Selection choice Carson Rehkopf opened the scoring 1:38 into the first period for his first OHL pre-season goal and led the Rangers with five shots on net.
– Defenceman Roman Schmidt also found the back of the net in his debut with the Rangers.
– Veteran Nicholas Porco scored Barrie’s first goal 3:30 into the first period.
– Rookie goaltender Jackson Parsons recorded 26 saves on 28 shots in net for Kitchener.
Matteo Lalama and newly-signed Matteo Caruso split goaltending duties in net for Barrie with a combined 29 saves on 34 shots.
