Pre-Season Pulse: Wednesday September 11th


Overage winger Jack Phibbs scored the game winner with 5:28 remaining in the third period as the Flint Firebirds won their second straight pre-season game, defeating the Windsor Spitfires 3-2 on the road. The Spits were also engaged in their second exhibition contest as the two teams played a closely-matched game. The Firebirds stayed one step ahead throughout the night as Connor Roberts and Jake Durham also scored while second overall OHL Priority Selection choice Brennan Othmann collected two assists. Kyle McDonald and Ruben Rafkin scored for Windsor as the Spits were outshot 34-28.
