SARNIA, ON – General Manager, Nick Sinclair announced today that Brady Hinz has agreed to terms on a Standard Player Agreement and Education Package with the Sarnia Sting.

Hinz, who attended both Orientation Camp and Training Camp this summer, was the club’s 3rd Round pick (52nd overall) in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection. The Stratford, ON native registered 32 points (18 goals, 14 assists) in 27 games with the Huron Perth Lakers last season. In 3 GOJHL games with the Stratford Cullitons last season, Hinz posted 2 assists as an underage skater.

Sinclair comments, “We’re happy to receive a commitment from Brady and his family and would like to welcome them to the Sarnia Sting Hockey Club. He’s a prospect that we think very highly of, and look forward to working with him on his development for years to come.”

Hinz is expected to skate in both exhibition games against the Knights this weekend. The Sting travel to London tonight and then return for game two of the home-and-home on Saturday at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena.
