Logan DeNoble (6, 7) led the way with two goals and an assist as the Peterborough Petes took a 5-2 win in Owen Sound.  Scott Smith was outstanding in the crease, turning away 54 shots as the Petes improved to 4-4-0-2. Jonathan Ang (3) had a goal and an assist while defenceman Matthew Timms continued his point-per-game pace with a pair of assists. Steven Lorentz (2) and Tyler Rollo (2) also scored as the Petes won despite being heavily outshot 56-22. Petrus Palmu (10) and Tyler MacArthur (1) scored for the Attack.

SAULT STE. MARIE 4 OTTAWA 1
Joseph Raaymakers made 28 saves as the Soo Greyhounds wrapped up another perfect weekend road trip, improving to 6-0 away from home this season. Zach Senyshyn (4), Hayden Verbeek (3), Boris Katchouk (2) and Tim Gettinger (2) had goals while defenceman Conor Timmins recorded two assists. Patrick White (3) scored the lone goal for Ottawa on the power play. Goaltender Olivier Lafreniere made 35 saves in the loss.

KITCHENER 3 GUELPH 2
Florida Panthers prospect Adam Mascherin (4) recorded a goal and two assists while Toronto Maple Leafs draftee Jeremy Bracco picked up a pair of primary assists in a 3-2 win over the Guelph Storm. The road win also featured goals from Darby Llewellyn (4) and Mason Kohn (3). Goaltender Dawson Carty made 25 saves as the Rangers were outshot 27-21, improving to 6-2-0-1 on the season. Isaac Ratcliffe (3) and Ryan Merkley (2) had goals for Guelph as the Storm dropped their sixth straight decision.

SUDBURY 5 OSHAWA 3
Chandler Yakimowicz (2, 3) netted a pair of goals including the game winner as the Sudbury Wolves defeated the Oshawa Generals 5-3 on the road. Darian Pilon (3, 4) also scored twice while goaltender Jake McGrath made 33 saves. Sophomore winger Macaulay Carson recorded three assists while David Levin registered a pair of his own. Wolves rookie Shane Bulitka (1) collected his first OHL goal while Oshawa goals came from Mitchell Vande Sompel (4), Anthony Cirelli (6) and Domenic Commisso (6). Oshawa outshot Sudbury 36-25, but the Wolves picked up the two points to improve to 6-3-1-0 for first in the Central Division.

KINGSTON 1 NORTH BAY 0
Sam Harding’s (2) second period goal was enough to give the Kingston Frontenacs a win to close out the weekend. Carolina Hurricanes prospect Jeremy Helving recorded a 17-save shutout as the Fronts blanked the visiting North Bay Battalion 1-0. North Bay goaltender Brent Moran earned second star honours with 28 saves in the loss. Kingston improves to 4-4-1-0 on the season.
