Sunday Highlights: Wolves take the turkey in Central Division Thanksgiving clash

The Mississauga Steelheads gained an early 2-0 lead but it wouldn’t hold up as the Sudbury Wolves scored four unanswered in a 4-2 road win. With things tied at two, David Levin (3) scored the game winner 1:04 into the third period before Quinton Byfield (8) added insurance. Jack Thompson (6) and Isaak Phillips (2) also scored for Sudbury as the Wolves outshot the Steelheads 42-34. Thompson earned first star honours with a goal and an assist while Mitchell Weeks turned aside 32 of 34, helping the Wolves bounce back from a late collapse against Oshawa at home on Friday. James Hardie (6) and Cole Schwindt (3) scored Mississauga goals while netminder Kai Edmonds earned second star honours with 38 saves. Sudbury improves to 6-3-0-0 while Mississauga drops a second straight decision, falling to 2-6-0-0.
