1ST STAR: THOMAS HARLEY (MISSISSAUGA STEELHEADS) – 2G, 2A
Dallas Stars prospect Thomas Harley recorded a career-high four points as the Mississauga Steelheads went into the break on a high note, defeating the Barrie Colts 8-2. Harley scored his 14th and 15th goals of the season and tacked on two assists, giving him 36 points (15-21–36) over 32 games this season. The first round NHL Draft pick recently attended Canada’s National Junior Team Selection Camp but just missed the cut. The 6-foot-4, 195Ib. defender is in his third season with the Trout after originally being the 14th overall pick of the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.
HIGHLIGHTS

2ND STAR: NOEL HOEFENMAYER (OTTAWA 67’s) – 2G, 1A
Ottawa 67’s overage defender Noel Hoefenmayer scored twice and added an assist as the Barber Poles edged the Oshawa Generals 5-4 in overtime. Hoefenmayer continues his strong season and leads OHL defenders in points with 44 (14-30–44) over 30 games. The fifth-year veteran has recorded 184 career points (53-131–184) in 270 career regular season games with Ottawa. He was a fourth round pick of the Arizona Coyotes in 2017 before going unsigned. Hoefenmayer attended rookie camp with the Carolina Hurricanes in September.
HIGHLIGHTS

3RD STAR: BRETT BROCHU (LONDON KNIGHTS) – 29 SV SO
Rookie netminder Brett Brochu stopped all 29 shots he faced, backstopping the London Knights to a 1-0 road win in Sudbury. The 17-year-old Tilbury, Ont. native improves to 10-4-0-0 with a 2.62 goals-against average and .908 save percentage with two shutouts through 18 games this season. Brochu was a sixth round pick of the Knights in the 2018 OHL Priority Selection. He spent last season with the Dresden Kings Jr. C club, being named the PJHL Stobbs Division Rookie of the Year with 27 wins and a 2.46 goals-against average.
