1ST STAR: NOLAN HUTCHESON (SUDBURY WOLVES):
Sophomore winger Nolan Hutcheson recorded a career-high five points, scoring twice while adding three assists as the Sudbury Wolves took care of the visiting Flint Firebirds 9-2. Hutcheson finished with a plus-5 rating on the night and gave himself points in six of the last seven games for a total of 34 (18-16–34) through 49 games this season. The 6-foot-4, 195Ib native of Kingston, Ont. was originally Sudbury’s fourth round pick in 2016 from the Greater Kingston Frontenacs Minor Midgets. Hutcheson is currently fifth in Wolves team scoring.

2ND STAR: ARTHUR KALIYEV (HAMILTON BULLDOGS):
2019 NHL Draft prospect Arthur Kaliyev unloaded for a career-high five points in Kitchener on Friday, leading the Hamilton Bulldogs to a 6-4 road win at the Aud. Kaliyev was in on five of Hamilton’s six goals, scoring a hat-trick while picking up two assists. The 17-year-old from Staten Island, NY climbed to fifth in the league scoring race with his five points giving him a total of 81 (41-40–81) through 52 games this season. The first 40-goal scorer in Hamilton Bulldogs history, Kaliyev recently represented Team Cherry at the 2019 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Red Deer, Alta. where he put together a three-point showing. Kaliyev was the 11th-ranked North American skater in NHL Central Scouting’s Midterm Rankings.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS

3RD STAR: BLAKE MURRAY (SUDBURY WOLVES):
Draft eligible forward Blake Murray scored his second hat-trick of the season as the Sudbury Wolves blitzed the visiting Flint Firebirds 9-2. Murray’s 23rd, 24th and 25th goals of the season came on seven shots on goal as he finished the night with a plus-3 rating and was 4-for-6 in the faceoff circle. The 17-year-old product of Uxbridge, Ont. has 39 points (25-14–39) over 50 games this season and was recently listed as the 111th-ranked North American skater on NHL Central Scouting’s Midterm Draft Rankings. Sudbury’s first round pick in 2017, the Whitby Wildcats graduate led the Wolves in scoring as a 16-year-old last season.
