1ST STAR: JORDAN KOOY (SARNIA STING) – 50 SV
Vegas Golden Knights prospect Jordan Kooy stood out with a career-high 50-save night, leading the Sarnia Sting to a big 5-1 road win over the Flint Firebirds Wednesday morning and beating his previous record of 43 saves. Kooy was acquired by the Sting late last month, having played his last three OHL seasons with the London Knights, and is now 3-for-3 in victories with his new squad.
HIGHLIGHTS

2ND STAR: TYE KARTYE (SOO GREYHOUNDS) – 1G, 2A
Tye Kartye put up a career-high three points in the Soo Greyhounds’ 6-2 victory over the Sudbury Wolves, helping them snap their seven-game losing streak with a goal and two assists. The Kingston, Ont. native now has 15 points (6-12) in 19 games this season and sits fourth in scoring among his teammates.
HIGHLIGHTS

3RD STAR: KELTON HATCHER (SARNIA STING) – 2G
Kelton Hatcher logged his first career two-goal effort in Sarnia’s dominant 5-1 victory over the Firebirds. Hatcher and Jacob Perrault traded a couple of back to back goals to lead the Sting to their 10th win in 11 games. The New Jersey native and fourth-year Sarnia Sting veteran now improves to six points (3-3) this season.
