1ST STAR: TAG BERTUZZI (HAMILTON BULLDOGS) – 4G
Tag Bertuzzi picked up a career-high four goals, including the overtime winner, for the Hamilton Bulldogs in their 11-10 OT win in Sudbury. The third-year forward was drafted second overall by the Guelph Storm in 2017, and is now fourth in Hamilton scoring behind teammates Arthur Kaliyev, Jan Jenik, and Logan Morrison. Bertuzzi’s big day came in Sudbury, the hometown of father, OHL graduate and former long-time NHL forward Todd Bertuzzi.
HIGHLIGHTS

2ND STAR: JOSEPH GARREFFA (OTTAWA 67’S) – 2G, 2A
Ottawa 67’s winger Joseph Garreffa closed out an eight-point weekend with two goals and two assists in a 6-3 victory over the Sarnia Sting. The Toronto-born OHL veteran has picked up points in Ottawa’s last four games and is currently sixth in Ottawa scoring with 21 points (12-9–21) in just 11 games. Garreffa scored three out of four Ottawa goals and picked up an assist against the Flint Firebirds on Saturday, lifting the 67’s to a 4-2 win.
HIGHLIGHTS

3RD STAR: ARTHUR KALIYEV (HAMILTON BULLDOGS) – 2G, 2A
Another four-point night was on display in Sudbury as top scorer Arthur Kaliyev picked up two goals and two assists in Hamilton’s 11-10 OT win. The Staten Island, N.Y. native has been an absolute force, tying Quinton Byfield’s 44 points for first place in OHL scoring. Kaliyev is currently on a 10-game point streak and sits first in the league in goals, having earned his 23rd and 24th against the Wolves on Sunday. The L.A. Kings drafted Kaliyev 33rd overall in the 2019 NHL Draft.
