PETERBOROUGH 5, NORTH BAY 3
– Mason McTavish returned from NHL duty with the Anaheim Ducks to record a hat trick and rack up 10 shots on goal as the Petes snapped North Bay’s four-game winning streak.
– Emmett Sproule recorded two assists to extend his point streak to 18 games.
– J.R. Avon had a goal and an assist for the Petes.
– Reigning OHL Player of the Week Brandon Coe had two goals and an assist, climbing into the OHL scoring lead with 36 points (11-25–36) thorugh 20 games.
– Edmonton Oilers prospect Matvey Petrov had three assists for the Battalion.
– Tye Austin earned the win with 19 saves on 22 shots.
– Dom DiVincentiis made 29 saves for the Battalion as they were outshot 34-22.
– Peterborough’s Nick Lardis and North Bay’s Owen Outwater were out of the lineup at the Under-17 Capital City Challenge.

ERIE 5, SAULT STE. MARIE 3
– The Otters overcame a 3-0 deficit, scoring five unanswered to win their first Thanksgiving Game since 2017.
– Brendan Hoffmann recorded a season-high three points including a pair of goals to earn first star honours.
– Rookie defender Spencer Sova had two assists in the win.
– Rory Kerins and Cole MacKay each registered a goal and an assist for the Greyhounds.
– Nolan Lalonde made 26 saves for the Erie win.
– Erie’s Carey Terrance was out of the lineup, preparing to compete in the Under-17 Capital City Challenge starting Friday.

HAMILTON 6, NIAGARA 3
– Five different Bulldogs had multi-point efforts as they improved to 4-0 against Niagara this season, extending their cushion atop the East Division to three points.
– Montreal Canadiens prospect Jan Mysak was named first star with two goals and an assist for his fifth straight multi-point effort.
– Nathan Staios and Logan Morrison both eclipsed 100 career OHL points.
– Mark Duarte and Lawson Sherk each registered a goal and an assist.
– IceDogs captain Cameron Butler recorded a pair of assists.
– Matteo Drobac made 33 saves as the Bulldogs won their third in a row.
– Sami Douglas-Najem made his OHL debut for Niagara.
– Niagara dropped their fourth straight decision, falling to 5-13-0-0.
– Hamilton’s Alex Pharand and Niagara’s Joseph Costanzo were out of the lineup at the Under-17 Capital City Challenge.

MISSISSAUGA 5, SUDBURY 3
– Zak Lavoie posted his first career multi-goal performance, scoring twice to extend his point streak to six games.
– Mississauga won for the ninth time in the last 10 outings as James Hardie had a goal and an assist. The Steelheads have a point in 11 consecutive games, setting a new club record.
– Sudbury’s Chase Stillman had a goal and an assist after being recognized for his role on Canada’s gold medal-winning National Under-18 Team pre-game.
– Joe Ranger stopped 27 of 30 for the win opposite Sudbury’s Mitchell Weeks who made 28 saves.
– Mississauga is one point back of first place North Bay in the Central Division.
– The Wolves see a four-game home winning streak come to an end as they fall to 7-12-1-0.
– Mississauga’s Luke Misa was out of the lineup at the Under-17 Capital City Challenge.

OWEN SOUND 4, BARRIE 3
– Four first period goals were enough to carry the Owen Sound Attack to a 4-3 road win.
– Slovakian forward Servac Petrovsky scored a pair for the Bears while Thomas Chafe and Cedrick Guindon each had two assists.
– Nick Porco and Beau Jelsma scored third period goals for Barrie but their comeback came up short.
– The game only included two minor penalties, both assessed to Owen Sound.
– Nick Chenard made 32 saves for the win opposite Mack Guzda, who made 24 saves against his former long-time club.
– The Attack have won six of their last seven and improve to 9-7-1-1.
– Owen Sound wins the first of six meetings between the two clubs this season.
– Barrie’s Beau Akey and Owen Sound’s Colby Barlow were out of the lineup at the Under-17 Capital City Challenge.
