Trey Zagrzebski commits to Colts



Barrie, ON – Barrie Colts General Manager & Head Scout Jason Ford announced today that the team has received a commitment from 16-year-old forward Trey Zagrzebski.

A native of Stevens Point, WI, Zagrzebski was the Colts’ sixth round (107th overall) pick in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection. The 5-foot-9, 174Ib. forward recorded 46 points (19-27–46) in 24 games with Stevens Point Area High School.

“The organization is very excited about the commitment from Trey,” said Ford. ” We welcome him to the Colts family, and feel he will be a key contributor for the club moving forward throughout his junior career.

“He is a skilled forward with excellent compete and hockey sense,” Ford continued. “He was a welcomed addition to our recent Development Camp, and brings a variety of facets to the game that will help the organization.”
