Tuesday Highlights: Storm swallows up Rangers


The Guelph Storm proved too much for the Kitchener Rangers in their Tuesday night Highway 7 battle at The Aud. Isaac Ratcliffe (12, 13) and Keegan Stevenson (3, 4) both scored twice while Nate Schnarr, Cedric Ralph and Ryan Merkley all had two assists, helping the Storm skate to a 6-2 road win. Anthony Popovich stopped 37 of the 39 shots he faced in the Guelph crease while other Storm scorers included Liam Hawel (7) and Cam Hillis (2). Michael Vukojevic (2) and Jonathan Yantsis (12). The win is Guelph’s third in the past four games as the Storm climb into the Midwest Division lead with a 9-4-2-0 record. The Rangers fall to 7-6-2-0.
