Will Cuylle commits to Spitfires

Windsor Spitfires

Windsor, ON – Recent acquisition Will Cuylle has officially committed to the Windsor Spitfires, agreeing to a standard OHL Player and Education package with general manager Warren Rychel.

Rychel acquired the third overall pick in the 2018 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection on Friday, sending seven draft picks to Peterborough in exchange.

The 6-foot-2, 200Ib. native of Toronto rushed to Buffalo to take part in the final two games of the OHL Showcase over Labour Day weekend. He didn’t disappoint, scoring twice on just three shots and the shootout winner in a 5-4 victory over Hamilton on Saturday before adding another goal in Sunday’s 7-4 win over the Flint Firebirds.

Cuylle had nine goals and 12 points in six games at the 2018 OHL Cup, after posting 62 points in 43 regular season games with the Toronto Marlboros last season.
