Already a prolific goal scorer at just 17-years-old, Hamilton Bulldogs winger Arthur Kaliyev put himself on the scouting radar with 82 goals over his first two OHL seasons.

A 6-foot-2, 185Ib winger from Staten Island, New York, Kaliyev helped guide the Bulldogs to an OHL Championship last spring before turning heads at the 2019 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Red Deer, AB, scoring twice while adding an assist for Team Cherry.

NHL Central Scouting describes Kaliyev as “already possessing multiple quality NHL shooting skills with a very quick release to bury chances and a very strong one-time shot.”

Kaliyev enters the 2019 NHL Draft as the OHL’s top-ranked skater, coming in at seventh in North America on NHL Central Scouting’s Final Rankings.
