A skilled forward with speed to burn in open ice, Philip Tomasino racked up 34 goals, 38 assists and 72 points in his sophomore season with the Niagara IceDogs.

The 17-year-old Mississauga, Ont. native spent time at both centre and on the wing and had the opportunity to play with highly skilled linemates on a veteran-laden IceDogs team that won a Central Division title.

NHL Central Scouting describes Tomasino as “a talented forward with excellent vision on offensive zone entries and strong playmaking ability. He has deceptive speed and quickness and plays a responsible game both with and without the puck.”

Tomasino enters the 2019 NHL Draft as the 14th ranked North American skater on NHL Central Scouting’s Final Draft Rankings.
