Captain Cole Carter (8, 9, 10) recorded a hat-trick as the Mississauga Steelheads continued their strong play with a 6-2 road win in Sarnia. Owen Tippett (4) had a goal and an assist in his return from suspension while Thomas Harley (3) and Filip Reisnecker (3) also found the scoresheet. Edmonton Oilers prospect Ryan McLeod had a pair of assists in the win while rookie goaltender Joe Ranger made 22 saves to pick up the win in his OHL debut. The Trout spotted Ranger a 4-0 lead before Brayden Guy (4) scored late in the first period. Sean Josling (3) would also score for Sarnia as the Sting were outshot 30-24. Mississauga leads the Central Division with a 6-2-1-0 record while Sarnia falls to 4-4-1-0.
