Watch more Highlights on OHL TV

A Niagara IceDogs comeback attempt fell just short as the Erie Otters held on for a 4-3 win on home ice, snapping a seven-game slide. Rookie blueliner Jamie Drysdale (1) scored his first OHL goal while Hayden Fowler (1), Luke Beamish (2) and Christian Girhiny (2) also tallied. Kyle Maksimovich and Jack Duff both recorded a pair of assists as the Otters outshot the IceDogs 37-21. Down 4-0, Niagara scored three times in the last six minutes of the third period, but goals from Akil Thomas (4), Matthew Philip (4) and Kirill Maksimov (10) weren’t enough to overcome the deficit. Niagara netminder Colton Incze made 33 saves in the loss. Erie improves to 2-6-1-0 while Niagara falls to 5-3-2-0.
