Isaac Nurse (4) scored six seconds into the first period but the Sudbury Wolves bit back, scoring five consecutive goals to take command in a 7-5 home win over Hamilton. The Bulldogs made a game of things, pulling to within one after falling behind 5-1, but Owen Robinson’s (1) first OHL goal in a four-point performance proved to be the difference. Quinton Byfield (4, 5), Macauley Carson (1, 2) Blake Murray (4) and Kirill Nizhnikov (3) also scored for the Wolves while Jake McGrath picked up the win with 34 saves. The Bulldogs outshot Sudbury 39-32 and went 2-for-2 on the power play, being paced by Brandon Saigeon (7), Arthur Kaliyev (13), Matthew Strome (4) and MacKenzie Entwistle (7) who joined Nurse on the scoresheet. The Bulldogs see a three-game winning streak snapped to fall to 7-4-1-0 while Sudbury shakes off consecutive losses to improve to 7-4-0-0.
