Captain Kyle Maksimovich (9) snapped a wrister past Guelph’s Anthony Popovich 3:10 into overtime as the Erie Otters completed a 5-4 comeback win in Guelph for their first road win. Sophomore forward Chat Yetman (4, 5, 6) netted a hat-trick while defenceman Kurtis Henry (3) tied the score at four with 7:45 remaining in the third period. The Storm net a point despite surrendering a 3-0 first period lead. Nate Schnarr (9), Liam Hawel (6), Jack Hanley (1) and Isaac Ratcliffe (10) were Storm goal-scorers while Cam Hillis picked up three assists. Guelph outshot Erie 32-28 as Otters netminder Daniel Murphy earned the win with 28 saves. The Storm remain atop the Midwest Division standings with a 7-4-2-0 record. Erie improves to 5-6-1-0 with a fourth straight win.
