Philadelphia Flyers prospect Morgan Frost (10, 11) pulled into the OHL scoring lead with two goals and an assist, leading the Soo Greyhounds to a 7-4 win in Kitchener. The Hounds’ fifth-straight win also featured a goal and assist from Barrett Hayton (6), Joe Carroll (3) and Jordan Sambrook (3) as Sault Ste. Marie won despite being outshot 35-30. Ryan Roth (3) and Mac Hollowell (4) also found the back of the net while Cole MacKay had three assists in the victory, helping the Greyhounds climb to a West Division-leading 10-3-2-0 mark. After falling behind 3-0 in the opening half of the first period, Kitchener had goals from Jonathan Yantsis (9), Greg Meireles (6, 7) and Riley Damiani (6). Yantsis finished the night with a goal and three helpers. Kitchener’s third straight loss sees the Rangers fall to 6-5-2-0.
