Matthew Struthers’ (9, 10, 11) first OHL hat-trick headlined a 5-2 North Bay Battalion road win over the Erie Otters. The Troops win their third straight contest to return to .500 on the season as Struthers also added an assist while Justin Brazeau (15) and Brandon Coe (3) joined him in the goal-scoring department. The Battalion went 3-for-9 on the power play, outshooting the Otters 29-26 as Brazeau finished with a goal and three helpers while goaltender Christian Propp made 24 saves. Chad Yetman (7) and Gera Poddubnyi (4) scored for the Otters as they saw their four-game winning streak snapped, falling to 5-7-1-0.
