The Saginaw Spirit rallied from down 2-0 to tie things up and eventually force a shootout before Niagara’s Bradey Johnson scored the winner in a 3-2 IceDogs road win. Jonah De Simone (2) and Akil Thomas (7) scored Niagara goals before Thomas joined Johnson with shootout goals while goaltender Stephen Dhillon turned aside both Saginaw shooters he faced to lock down the win. Dhillon made 36 saves on the night as the IceDogs were outshot 38-31 in the victory. Albert Michnac (8) had a goal and an assist to continue his 13-game point streak while Brady Gilmour (5) also lit the lamp. The IceDogs improve to 8-4-2-0, sitting atop the Central Division after three straight wins. Saginaw falls to 7-4-1-1.
