Michael DiPietro became the winningest goaltender in Windsor Spitfires history, turning aside 33 shots in a 6-1 road win over the Owen Sound Attack. DiPietro’s 79th career victory featured two-goal performances from both Jordan Frasca (3, 4) and Curtis Douglas (3, 4) as the Spitfires ended a four-game slide to improve to 6-8-0-1. Chris Playfair (3) and Mathew MacDougall (4) also found the back of the net while Jean-Luc Foudy chipped in with two assists. Markus Phillips (2) scored the lone Attack goal as the Bears saw a four-game winning streak snapped. Owen Sound sits second in the Midwest Division at 8-6-0-1.
