The OHL Scholarship is designed with the flexibility to allow players to pursue professional hockey while still having an opportunity to access their earned scholarship.

Former Memorial Cup champion and four-year OHL veteran Aaron Berisha (2012-16) signed an AHL contract with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and played with the ECHL’s Missouri Mavericks before using his OHL Scholarship package to attend Saint Mary’s University where he played men’s hockey with the Huskies program. Berisha is now playing pro hockey in Austria.
