Jonathan Ang (2) opened the scoring for Peterborough but that’s all the Petes would muster as the Niagara IceDogs went on to take 5-1 home ice victory and improve to 3-0-0-0 on the season. All hands were on deck for the Dogs as Edmonton Oilers prospect Kirill Maksimov (2) led the team with a goal and two assists while 2018 NHL Draft prospect Akil Thomas (2) had a goal and a helper. Danial Singer (2), Kyle Langdon (2) and William Lochead (1) also scored for Niagara while Stephen Dhillon made 23 saves in goal. The IceDogs outshot the Petes 32-24.
