Sarnia Sting’s Nikita Korostelev scores a goal of the year candidate against Kitchener on Friday.

With just over three minutes remaining in the second Korostelev was the beneficiary of a Rangers turnover in the neutral zone. He picked up the puck deked two defenders then beat Rangers’ goalie Dawson Carty with a beautiful backhand shot.

The seventh round draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs scored two goals and an assist as well as a goal in the shootout in a 6-5 win over the Kitchener Rangers.He now has 6 goals and 9 points in 4 games this season.
